t-aeop2The PRINCE2 Foundation qualification covers the PRINCE2 principles, themes and processes and an understanding of the terminology to enabable you to act as an informed member of a project management team using the PRINCE2 methodology within a project environment supporting PRINCE2.

PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a process-based approach for project management providing an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects. The method is the de-facto standard for project management and is practiced worldwide.

PRINCE2 is a flexible method that guides you through the essentials for running a successful project regardless of project type or scale.

The purpose of the Foundation level is to confirm sufficient knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2 method ability to work effectively as a member of, a project management team within an environment supporting PRINCE2.

The course provides delegates with an overview of the PRINCE2® methodology including processes, themes and principles central to running a project using the PRINCE2® method.

The target group of the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is drawn from:

  • Individuals who require a basic understanding of the ITIL framework and how it may be used to enhance the quality of IT service management within an organization.
  • IT professionals that are working within an organization that has adopted and adapted ITIL who need to be informed about and thereafter contribute to an ongoing service improvement programme.

This may include but is not limited to, IT professionals, business managers and business process owners.

There is no specific prerequisite for this course, but it is recommended that the participants have some experience in the IT service management.

  • At least 1 year experience in ITSM
  • Familiarity with IT terminology
  • Understand basics of IT management
